MBA (Master’s in Business Administration) is a post graduate program designed to educate the students on various corporate affairs. This course is aimed to create corporate professionals for business activities. It is a course focussing on developing the students in leadership, initiative skills and excellence very much required for the top career in the corporate. It is by definition, a general management degree designed to educate business students in areas such as Finances, Human Resources, Marketing, Strategy and Operations Management.

In the initial period, the course syllabus covers the following core subjects: Accounting, Economics, Corporate Finance, Strategy/ Frameworks, Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour, Leadership, Marketing, Information Technology and other subjects. Once the basic foundation has been laid, you’ll have the option of specialising in any area that student wish. This can be done by choosing several electives.

Eye Checkup Camp @ DVH IMSR in Association with Eye Buddy

In the wake of commemoration and celebration of the 58th Anniversary of Pattabhisheka of The Honourable Chairman, JSS Institutions, Dr. D Veerendra Heggadeji¸ JSS Group of Institutions has planned a series of Programs. JSS DVHIMSR therefore took an initiative to conduct a Free Eye Checkup Camp at the Institute in association with a budding Eye Care Centre from Hubli “Eye Buddy” on 17^th October, 2025. The objective of this Program was to promote eye health awareness and offer services such as eye screenings, vision tests and prescription of glasses.

The Technical Staff from Eye Buddy provided an insight about the importance of Eye care to have a improved quality of life. They also emphasized on the significance of such camps in detecting and treating a wide range of eye problems at an early stage, which would prevent the vision loss. The beneficiaries of the Program were Faculty & Staff of JSS MBA & MCA Institute and the MBA Students.
