Dr. H N Shivaprasad is currently the Director and Professor at Dr.D. Veerendra Heggade Institute of Management Studies and Research, Dharwad. His Ph.D was on Human aspects of post merger integration process case study of selected Indian companies. He has 29 years of experience in teaching and research in diverse areas of finance. His special areas of interest in teaching and research are Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, Project Appraisal, and Financial Services. He is a recognised guide for Ph.D program at Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. He has successfully guided five research scholars for their PhD Degree. Dr. H.N Shivaprasd is the member of various Bodies of several Indian Universities. He has attended and presented papers in more than 45 National and International seminars including IIMs, IIFT,XLRI, AIMS, CMR,IFIM. He has published over 35 papers and research articles in various journals and he also the recipient of The SMART Journal Best Paper Award 2018. He is a life member of Bangalore Management Association, The Indian Society and Technical Education (ISTE) and member of IIM’s Strategic Management Forum of India.

EDUCATION

Professional certification courses in Strategic Management Teachers Programme, Indian Institute of Management. He has successfully completed more than six such programs in IIM-A, IIM-B, XLRI, Jamshedpur, MDI, Gurgaon, IIFT, New Delhi. BIMTECH, Greater Noida.
